HR Recruit have another Learning & Development Manager job vacancy for a London based client handled by our South East team.

Our client, a leading IT business is currently recruiting an ambitious L&D Manager based in London. As a thriving, competitive and forward thinking business this role would suit a person who can bring creativity and innovation to the role and who can implement new ideas. The successful candidate will be able to motivate and develop an elite team. The newly created role will report directly into the HR Director.This role ultimately takes charge of all people based activity within the organisation and means that the successful candidate is very visible throughout the company, so a real ability to communicate effectively at all levels,build solid relationships with senior team members and inspire are essential.

Responsibilities to include:

Strong understanding of the organisation’s goals to effectively create a training strategy to fit the business and build the content
Act as the first point of contact for all training and development requirements and queries within the organisation
Gain a full working knowledge of each business unit to work alongside leaders to design effective training programmes
Responsible for talent management process
Adopt a blended approach of training techniques including classroom sessions, coaching, e-learning
Deliver training programmes as required
Manage the training budget for the organisation and source cost effective solutions
Ensure design of core curriculum for all employees (i.e. code of conduct)
Developing a succession plan across departments
Developing rewards and recognition schemes
Candidate Requirements:

A track record of management development and a variety of training and development techniques
Experience of managing a budget effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident presenter and public speaker
Creative thinker with the ability to work on own initiative
Some travel across the UK is required to conduct the training requirements.

The role is for 18.75 hours a week and the client is flexible when the hours are to be worked. The role is based near Covent Garden. In return the ideal candidate will receive a salary of 40-43K pro rata + benefits.
